I am new to this site. I live in USA. I have never seen a Wolfdog out here.Might be a good thing since americans have screwed up many breeds already. I have German Shepherds(Czech lines) and just breed my first litter after many years of searching for the right combo. I am very criticle of what is breed,as I want to make a good name for myself. I would like to breed Wolfdogs one day but as I said I am very criticle of what I own(cause they stay with me forever)and I want to make sure of what is being bred would improve on the breed.Any info or sugestions of bloodlines to check out would be appriciated. This is not something I am just going to jump into. I want to research first as I did with my GSDs.I drove over 2,000 miles to pick up my male GSD. If he wasn't the right one for me I was going to call it a nice vacation. He ended up being a great dog, intelligence, confirmation, health and temperament. He is a great sire and plays with his "kids" like he is a pup like one of them. Anyways, I would like more info on the Wolfdogs.
Thanks Lauren Christmas and Happy New Year

I also live in USA and am very interested in getting a Czech WolfDog. Not for breeding but strictly as a companion. Does anyone know the possibility of importing one into the USA. What documentation would be required. Would they still be considered a wolf hybrid or an established breed? I would be willing to travel to Poland if it was possible.
